Rain. Thunder. Guitar swells. The harbinger of things to come. A small village near the sea. Impressive sails on the horizon. Men with polished swords. The villagers know they don’t stand a chance. But they know who will wind up in hell.
After the slaughter, through the rays in the sky, the souls of the villagers reach the sparkling beauty of the entrance of the heavens that await them.

distressed and under-armed, never seen this before
those long and polished swords for sure kill them all

when the rays appear beyond, the Normans are gone
